What Embroidery Format Does the Baby Lock Flare Use?
The Baby Lock Flare uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.
The Baby Lock Flare is an embroidery-only machine with a maximum embroidery area of 6.25 x 10.25 inches (160 x 260 mm). Designs in 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10 sizes all fit.
To use a design on the Flare:
- Unzip the download on your computer.
- Find the .pes file in the 4x4, 5x7 or 6x10 size.
- Copy it to a USB flash drive, or send it to the machine over its wireless connection.
- Select the design on the machine's screen.
The Flare can receive designs wirelessly from a computer as well as by USB. It has the same embroidery features as the Baby Lock Vesta, without the sewing functions.
