What Embroidery Format Does the Baby Lock Pathfinder Use?

The Baby Lock Pathfinder uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.

The Baby Lock Pathfinder is an embroidery-only machine with a maximum embroidery field of 8 x 12 inches (about 200 x 300 mm). Designs in 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10 sizes all fit.

The machine comes with two hoops. Match your design to the smaller hoop that holds it:

• 4x4 and 5x7 designs fit the 5 x 7 inch hoop
• 6x10 designs fit the 8 x 12 inch hoop

To use a design on the Pathfinder:

1. Unzip the download on your computer.
2. Find the .pes file in the 4x4, 5x7 or 6x10 size.
3. Copy it to a USB flash drive.
4. Plug the drive into the machine and select the design on the screen.

The Pathfinder loads designs from a USB drive.
