What Embroidery Format Does the Brother LB5000 Use?
The Brother LB5000 uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.
The Brother LB5000 is a sewing and embroidery combination machine with a maximum embroidery area of 4 x 4 inches (100 x 100 mm). A design must fit inside that area to load, so pick the 4x4 size. The 5x7 and 6x10 sizes are too large for this machine.
The LB5000 was sold in two themed editions, the LB5000S (Star Wars) and the LB5000M (Marvel). Both use the same format and the same 4 x 4 inch embroidery area, so this page applies to either one.
To use a design on the LB5000:
- Unzip the download on your computer.
- Find the .pes file in the 4x4 size.
- Copy it to a USB flash drive.
- Plug the drive into the machine and select the design on the screen.
The LB5000 loads designs from a USB flash drive.
