What Embroidery Format Does the Brother NQ1700E Use?

The Brother NQ1700E uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.

The Brother NQ1700E is an embroidery-only machine with a maximum embroidery area of 6 x 10 inches (160 x 260 mm). Designs in 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10 sizes all fit.

To use a design on the NQ1700E:

1. Unzip the download on your computer.
2. Find the .pes file in the 4x4, 5x7 or 6x10 size.
3. Copy it to a USB flash drive, or send it to the machine over its wireless connection.
4. Select the design on the machine's screen.

The NQ1700E can receive designs wirelessly from a computer as well as by USB.
