What Embroidery Format Does the Brother SE2000 Use?
The Brother SE2000 uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.
The Brother SE2000 has a maximum embroidery area of 5 x 7 inches (130 x 180 mm). A design must fit inside that area to load, so pick the 4x4 or 5x7 size. A 6x10 design is too large for this machine.
To use a design on the SE2000:
- Unzip the download on your computer.
- Find the .pes file in the 4x4 or 5x7 size.
- Copy it to a USB drive, or send it to the machine wirelessly.
- Select the design on the machine's screen.
Brother machines can generally read DST files as well, but PES is the better choice because it keeps the thread colors. Check your manual for the full list of formats your machine supports.
