What Embroidery Format Does the Brother SE725 Use?
The Brother SE725 uses the PES embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .pes when you download a design for this machine.
The Brother SE725 is a sewing and embroidery combination machine with a maximum embroidery area of 4 x 4 inches (100 x 100 mm). A design must fit inside that area to load, so pick the 4x4 size. The 5x7 and 6x10 sizes are too large for this machine.
To use a design on the SE725:
- Unzip the download on your computer.
- Find the .pes file in the 4x4 size.
- Send it to the machine over its wireless connection, using Brother's free Design Database Transfer software.
- Select the design on the machine's screen.
The SE725 is sold through Walmart and is closely related to the Brother SE700. Both have a 4 x 4 inch embroidery area and wireless transfer.
