What Embroidery Format Does the Poolin EOC06 Use?
The Poolin EOC06 uses the DST embroidery format. Choose the file ending in .dst when you download a design for this machine.
The Poolin EOC06 is an embroidery-only machine with a maximum embroidery area of 7.9 x 11.2 inches (about 200 x 285 mm). Designs in 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10 sizes all fit.
To use a design on the EOC06:
- Unzip the download on your computer.
- Find the .dst file in the 4x4, 5x7 or 6x10 size.
- Copy it to a USB flash drive.
- Plug the drive into the machine and select the design on the screen.
The EOC06 loads designs from a USB flash drive. Newer versions of the machine also have WiFi for sending designs without a drive.
DST files don't store thread colors. They only record where each color change happens, so the design may appear in unexpected colors on the machine's screen. The design is fine. Follow the color chart that came with it and thread each color in order.
